4 ways to heat your home

Dark nights and cold evenings make us want to snuggle up in front of a stove or fire. Here are four different ways to heat your home with Yeoman.

Inset fire

An inset fire works well for those who are working with minimal space, or indeed are looking for a fire that integrates with the wall. Inset fires are installed into a chimney breast or wall, therefore saving on the footprint of the fire in the room.

The CL7 inset fire is a modern fire with all the signature clean styling of the CL range. With an Airwash system, this inset fire offers a clear view of the vibrant flames. This inset fire is also available for use in smoke control areas, and can be selected as a high output boiler version if required.

Freestanding wood burner

A freestanding wood burning stove does require slightly more space than an inset model, but there is a huge variety of choice when it comes to the design and size, suiting your needs and the size of your home. A freestanding stove can be installed almost anywhere providing there is a flue and that the installation satisfies the requirements of the product, such as distance to combustibles.

They are available in a range of styles, from traditional to contemporary, depending on your home’s aesthetic. Some stoves are even available as double-sided versions, giving you a view of the flames from multiple spaces, such as the Yeoman Devon. The doors of the double-sided Devon are designed to open into adjacent rooms with one central chimney, heating two spaces at once and creating an impressive central feature.

A gas alternative

The wood burning lifestyle is not for everyone. Modern gas stoves and fires boast fuel beds that are almost indistinguishable from real wood burning fires, yet with all the convenience that comes with gas. Along with designs to suit both traditional and contemporary home styling, a gas stove or fire offers high heating performance at the touch of a button.

The CL3 gas stove from Yeoman is one example. The CL3 gas is the smallest of the contemporary gas stoves from Yeoman, but despite its size, it offers impressive heating performance. With its clean lines and stainless steel handle, the CL3 also fits in effortlessly into a range of interior styles.

It also comes with optional upgrade to a Programmable Thermostatic remote control system. The optional remote upgrade allows the CL3 to be set to automatically switch on or off and change temperature according to your exact requirements.

Plug and go

If you do not want the process of having a stove or fire installed, and want the ultimate in convenience and ease of installation, an electric model makes a great heating solution. Providing instant localised heat, and only requiring a standard three-pin plug socket, an electric fire or stove can be installed almost anywhere in the home – without the need for a chimney.

The Yeoman range of electric stoves and fires feature hand painted logs, and VeriFlame technology so that you can control flame brightness and colour.
